Welcome to the production home page. The links below provide information about our production process here at Lang. If you have any questions about which specifics apply to your book, please ask your production contact, whose name and email address you were given with your countersigned contract.
Book Information Form
All authors must complete and submit the mandatory production form to their production contact. Simply save this file to your computer, complete the form, then attach the document to an email addressed to your production contact.
Please also attach your book’s table of contents and any four chapters (drafts are fine) to the same email. We require this information to register your book with the Library of Congress. Further instructions are included at the beginning of the document. If you cannot open this form, please email your production contact for assistance.
Preparing your text using Microsoft Word
Our formatting guidelines are designed to assist you in preparing an acceptable interior layout for submission. It is very important that you review and adhere to these guidelines, so that your book is as attractive and accessible as possible. Before beginning this step, please email your production contact to make sure you’re at the point in the process where typesetting is appropriate.
